Stand Up Paddle Board Hire

Explore Bantry Bay by SUP

Hiring a Stand Up Paddle Board to explore the beautiful waters of Bantry Bay is a great thing to do during your stay in Bantry and West Cork.  Perhaps you have tried kayaking before and are looking to try something a little bit different on the water?  Then you must try stand up paddle boarding!

Stand Up Paddle Boarding, or SUP for short, is a fun and exhilarating watersport activity that we offer on the calm waters of Bantry Bay.  Paddling your board around the bay is a great way to see the area and you may even spot wildlife as you paddle about - it's not uncommon to see dolphins, seals and numerous birds in the bay.  You can explore the inner harbour and decide which direction to go in, or you can follow the Bantry Blueway, which is a marked kayaking and paddle boarding route around the bay.  There is a map of the Blueway detailed below and there is also one beside us on The Railway Pier in Bantry so you can get your bearings of the route to take, but don't worry we will send you off in the right direction.

You can hire a paddle board by the hour and your rate includes your lifejacket, paddle board and paddle. We have shorty wetsuits available for hire at an additional cost. The minimum age for paddle board hire is 16yrs without an adult.

No experience is necessary to do paddle boarding and we will always keep an eye on you from the shore.  Our safety boat will always be on hand to pick you up should you need any help.
